At India Inclusion Summit 2016, author Amish Tripathi talked about the importance of marketing and offered an interesting take on the concept of charity.

The celebrated author of the Shiva Trilogy, who was rejected by 20 publishers before he self-published his first book, highlighted the importance of marketing. “One of the fallacies is that a good product sells itself. Sadly, that’s not the case. It needs to be marketed.”

In a riveting conversation with VR Ferose, Senior Vice President and Head of Globalization Services at SAP SE, Amish also talked about the act of charity and how it was related to the redemption of one’s karmic debt.

Hear him speak at the 5th anniversary celebration of India Inclusion Summit.
